Julie Stephens has been my yoga teacher for nearly nine years! And she is the best of the best. I’ve done yoga with many lovely teachers over the years, but her style and knowledge is beyond comparison. Anyone who has done a yoga class with her will know they have met someone special. Julie planned a yoga retreat recently in Bali and I was lucky enough to attend. She used to live in Bali, so she knows the ins and outs of the area, the beautiful spots we would want to see and how to haggle a good deal. She created a retreat that focused on yoga, meditation, cultural exploration and adventurous excursions. It was wonderful! It exceed my expectations and it has sparked my devotion to yoga. I met new people, I practiced yoga while staring at the sea and I meditated with the sound of birds and geckos in the background. 🧘‍♀️ I’m a business owner and Mom who needed a reset. I was exhausted, I was crabby, and I had no discipline. This retreat has left me feeling refreshed and focused on my health. Even my two-year-old now knows that Mom needs time for yoga so she can stay happy and healthy. Aside from the daily yoga sessions, our retreat offers a variety of enriching activities to enhance your experience. We have two full-day excursions, so you can immerse yourself in Balinese culture. One being a visit to a sacred water temple and the other a full-day bike ride through local villages, rice paddy fields and a delicious lunch to finish the day. On your days off you can indulge in rejuvenating spa treatments, or simply unwind by the pool and soak up the tropical vibes.

Ours days will start with a 2-hour Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation practice to set us up for a day of relaxation and indulgence in the stunning settings of this amazing beachfront location.

The style of yoga will be Vinyasa flow at a general level with plenty of options available for those more experienced and those who are fairly new to Yoga. On 2 of the evenings, there will also be a restorative/deep stretch class to lead us into a delicious evening meal and beachfront/poolside chill.

If you are wanting to bring the family, partner along, either to attend the full retreat or do their own thing until the retreat is finished, this is a great idea as there are plenty of facilities available to keep them entertained.

You will need to contact me if you are needing a family room, as I will need to check availability. If it is just your partner coming over, then you can book the single room option.
