Retreat - Reset - Reconnect


This 2 day retreat has been organised by Marlborough Retreats at the Picton Yacht Club.

It will be a full 2 days of yoga practice, yoga workshops such as yoga philosophy, the 8 Limbs of yoga etc, which I will be presenting.

Lindsey Ellison from ChiroCare, Nelson will be presenting workshops on good stretches versus bad stretches, basic introduction to Anatomy, tissue types, instability through the pelvis etc.

There will be a great chef onboard, so you can enjoy an array of great food.

9am          Welcome circle

9.30am Vinyasa Flow

11am      Meditation

11.30-12.30 Lindsay’s- Basic introduction of Anatomy, tissue types etc.

12.30-  Lunch

               Indian Head Massage/Walk

2.30pm Lind's cont' – Learn the difference between a good stretch verses a bad

stretch.

                     Common injuries and how to avoid/stabilize these areas.

3.30pm Afternoon tea

4pm        Yin Yoga- Restorative Session finishing with Yoga Nidra for deep

relaxation.

6pm         Depart for the day

 Those staying in Picton can arrange to meet for dinner

 Monday

8.30 to 10 Vinyasa Flow

10am           Meditation.  In this session we will sit for 20mins and do walking

meditation for 10 mins.                                    

10.30-12.30 Introduction to Yoga Philosophy, the Yoga History Timeline.

                 8 Limbs; The guidelines on how to live a meaningful and purposeful life. 12.30    Lunch

1.30      Yoga Workshop – Arm balances

3 pm      Plant based ‘On the Go’ snack tips with Damian

3.45 5.15 Interactive partner yoga (depending on covid restrictions)

5.15 -6pm Farwell afternoon tea
