If you are interested in learning about Yoga, then this course will give you a great, solid and very safe foundation from which to start.
During the 6 weeks you will be introduced to the Asanas (postures) and breathing techniques. You will also learn how to use yoga props correctly and in the right way to manage and support injuries and any imbalances in the body.
The positive impact yoga has on all levels is invaluable!

After many years in Corporate high-pressure sales and an exercise regime to match usually involving high intensity movements and weights I've discovered Yoga. Feeling completely burnt out after 16 years in Corporate Sales I took a gap year to find balance in my life and instill some sense of calm.
As I near 50 I also knew the jarring and high intensity gym routine I've become used was also taking it's toll. Sensing the physical and mental stress on my body it was time to learn how to quieten my over-active mind and find alternatives in exercise. I also had to find a way to find restful sleep without the medication I had been using for years.

I totally appreciate Julie keeping an eye on me (definitely keeping me honest) and correcting my poses so I don't learn any bad habits. The workouts are always changing and I'm amazed at the physical and mental changes in such a short period of time.
