|Time to de-stress and breath|
As we are all entering uncertain and challenging times it is more important than ever to be the calm amongst the chaos.
We all know that stress and anxiety are not going to help us or anyone else at this time but rather deplete our immune systems making ourselves more vulnerable to the nasties that are looming.
If you can’t make it to class, that’s fine but I highly recommend you find some quiet time to focus on your breath and maybe even do a practice :).
My plan at this stage is to continue my normal schedule until I’m told I can’t. I really feel that it is important to have these classes available for you, for your own peace of mind and a bit of normality.
It’s during times like these that yoga shines its brightest and everything that we learn in our classes comes into play in our daily lives. Stay strong in your centre Watch your breath Relax and be open to what challenges present themselves Practice compassion (Karuna) Help those in need Be present in the moment And we know that on a physical level it’s important to keep our bodies strong, flexible and therefore healthy!
If we need to close the studios down for a period of time, I will look into the live streaming option which I have absolutely no idea about!
If anyone has any suggestions then I would love to hear from you so I can set it up asap as a back up plan 🙂.
Here is the protocol for the studios so you can relax knowing everything will be disinfected before and after each class.
We’ll be removing props for now, so please BYO your own eyebags, blocks, straps if you have them and need them.
If you have your own mat, please bring it. We will keep a few out if you don’t have your own.
Bring a clean towel from home to place on blankets
We will be using a bucket with disinfectant in it to wash mats, rather than the spray bottles. This will be changed after every class. We will also be steam mopping the studio floors once a day.
There will no longer be glasses or cups available at the studios for water so please remember to bring your water bottle. 🙏
As always, if unwell with any flu/cold/bug please stay at home. I know it’s hard, but it helps the health of the whole community. Follow the current guidelines of 2 weeks self-isolation and seek help if needed.
Please take care of yourself and you know where I’ll be if you need a break!
