Yoga is continually reminding us and helping us to connect to our bodies, minds and breath. When we can stay present in our day to day activities we become more mindful of the way we react to situations, our habitual habits and can then make an effort to change.
The first step is to become aware of these imbalances and negative habits, but until this awareness is present we can’t help ourselves or perhaps don’t know how to begin to help ourselves back to better health. It is a journey and a long at that but nothing will change until you consciously decide to take the first step. So don’t contemplate it for the next few years, just do it and enjoy the positive process of change, look at it as an adventure :).
