Hope all is well with you in Nelson & Yogaland.
Just to update you on our yoga journey – I taught my first beginner Yoga class yesterday to a group of 6 teachers at a local primary school. It went pretty well, I ‘held’ the room 🙂 – but plenty to improve on for next weeks class.
Bryce has a group of guys sorted and will begin a Friday 6.00am class shortly.
We have continued meditating with a few stops and starts, but it is pretty regular now (5 – 6 mornings a week). We revisit the training manuals most weeks, so that we retain what we learnt – especially the sanskrit and anatomy.
We reflect on our teacher training adventure regularly and would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much.
Nadine & Bryce
As part of this training we will be spending 3 nights (all inclusive) up the top of the mountain at the amazing Anahata Retreat where we will get to experience Kirtan, Fire Ceremony, Meditation, Yoga and enjoy the beautiful, peaceful surroundings. It really is a special spot!
It is situated in the midst of native beech forest with spectacular ocean views bordering the Abel Tasman National Park. It is a residential eco-yoga retreat using alternative power, composting toilets, eco-buildings and nutritious organic vegetarian meals.
Anahata Yoga Retreat is a supportive, inspiring and dynamic environment that welcomes everyone regardless of age, background and level of yoga experience. This will be the perfect environment to deepen our practice and take a break from the busy outside world.
The early bird special is still available until the 18th January which is just around the corner.
